Watched, tracked, accounted for.
Safety is not a slogan on the side of a vehicle. It is a control room that is staffed at 03:00, a tracker that reports every kilometre, and a driver who has been trained for the day nothing goes to plan.
The systems behind every trip.
24-hour control room
Our control room operates around the clock. Vehicles are watched in real time, and controllers act immediately when a trip goes off plan.
GPS tracking
Every vehicle is GPS tracked, so routes, timings and positions are recorded and available to our operations team.
Satellite surveillance cameras
Selected vehicles — certain Toyota Quantums, Toyota Coasters and VW Caddies — are fitted with satellite surveillance cameras.
Routine mechanical inspections
Our fleet is kept on routine mechanical inspections so vehicles are roadworthy, clean and presentable before they go out.
Professional drivers
Every driver holds a valid Professional Driving Permit and is trained in customer etiquette, defensive driving and emergency protocols.
Driver training, in practice.
A Professional Driving Permit is the starting point, not the standard. Our drivers are trained in customer etiquette so that corporate passengers are handled professionally, in defensive driving so that Cape Town traffic is managed rather than reacted to, and in emergency protocols so that a breakdown, a medical incident or a road closure is dealt with calmly and reported immediately to the control room.
